The maid told that the root principle has no name, yet we called it Sarvam, the totality.
It is like a coin with two sides.
On one side it is Sunya, the unmanifest absolute nothing.
On the other side it is Leela, the creative play.
The maid told that the root principle has no name, yet we called it Sarvam, the totality.
It is like a coin with two sides.
On one side it is Sunya, the unmanifest absolute nothing.
On the other side it is Leela, the creative play.
It is not one having the other or two separate things, it is same thing.
By the interaction of the two sides, Sunya manifests into prakriti or nature.
The first step of this is to become a Bindu, a point, a point is something that closest to nothing yet something. This point then becomes a universe. In fact there are many points that overlap each, It is kind of like one point but there are many on top of each other yet they stay distinct without interacting with each other except at certain conditions.
Inside the bindus, each universe it is composed of Dravya, it is anything matter, energy, space or time. That combine in various configurations giving rise to stars, planets and bodies to host life.
Every thing in every universe is in a constant dance, a nritta, an abstract dance following the jati beats. Every movement is confined to a certain beat. We call those beats the laws of nature on the outside.
She explained how in this dance, dravya can sometimes be non physical and gives rise to emergent entities.
She told me to think of silk. About how silk thread can become a cloth by weaving.
Nothing new is introduced but we have a new emergent thing called the cloth.
She told weave is not a new physical thing but it is a kind of thing which is added to the threads to create the cloth.
Then she said a stitch could be added to the cloth to turn it into a skirt.
The cloth can also be a saree and a drape can be added to make it a Nivi or Nauvari.
But still the only physical dravya we have is the silk threads.
